What It's Really Like Owning the ESKUTE NOVA: 3-Month Family Update

Our initial ESKUTE NOVA review covered the first few weeks — the excitement of unboxing, the first rides, the immediate impressions. But three months of regular use tells a different story. Does the battery hold up? Do parts loosen? Does the kid still want to ride it, or has it become garage furniture?

We've been testing with two families over three months — one with an 8-year-old beginner and one with an experienced 11-year-old. Here's the honest long-term update.

Battery Health After 3 Months

Short answer: Still excellent. After approximately 40–50 charge cycles (3–4 rides per week for three months), both test batteries are delivering 95%+ of original range. The 8-year-old's bike (mostly Eco mode, pavement) still shows 17–18 miles — virtually unchanged from our initial range test.

The 11-year-old's bike (Normal/Sport mode, mixed terrain) shows a roughly 10% range drop — from 14 miles to about 12.5 miles in Normal mode. That's well within expected lithium-ion degradation for that level of use.

Do Kids Still Want to Ride After the Novelty Wears Off?

• Tires: No punctures, no excessive wear. Performing well on pavement and dirt.

• No rear suspension: Fine on maintained trails and pavement. On very rough, rock-strewn terrain, aggressive riders will notice the limitation.
• Stock seat comfort: After 45+ minute rides, the seat starts to feel basic. An aftermarket padded seat would help for longer family rides.
