Every electric bike manufacturer claims impressive range numbers. We decided to put the ESKUTE NOVA's 36V 10.4Ah battery to the test under real-world conditions.
Our Testing Method
We tested on three surfaces — smooth pavement, mixed terrain (grass + pavement), and off-road dirt trails. Each test was conducted with a 70-lb rider in each speed mode until the battery was depleted.
Test Results
Eco Mode (~8 mph)
- Pavement: 18.2 miles
- Mixed terrain: 15.4 miles
- Off-road: 12.1 miles
Normal Mode (~14 mph)
- Pavement: 14.6 miles
- Mixed terrain: 12.3 miles
- Off-road: 9.8 miles
Sport Mode (20 mph)
- Pavement: 11.2 miles
- Mixed terrain: 9.1 miles
- Off-road: 7.5 miles
Charge Time
From completely empty to fully charged took 5 hours and 12 minutes. From 20% to 80% took about 3 hours. The removable battery is a huge convenience — we charged it indoors while the bike stayed in the garage.
Tips to Maximize Range
- Use Eco mode for longer rides
- Avoid constant full-throttle acceleration
- Keep tires properly inflated
- Charge fully before each ride
- Avoid steep hills when battery is low
Bottom Line
The ESKUTE NOVA's range is realistic and practical for most use cases. For neighborhood riding in Normal mode, expect 12-15 miles — enough for 1-2 hours of fun. Plan your rides accordingly, and always keep an eye on the battery level indicator.
